WATERSCAPES

Long exposures bring a sense of calm. Time slows down and makes space for contemplation and surrender to change. Even the most turbulent water finds a kind of peace when given enough seconds to breathe. Faster exposures capture details on the surface of water, turning ripples on a pond into abstract reflections of color and light from the trees and sky above or making reflections so mirror-like that we begin to question what is real. This collection explores water’s constant paradox: always moving, yet somehow still.
